Homoeopathic Consultations - The Integrated Approach
Leah's emphasis is on providing health care to the whole family within a professional, compassionate, nurturing and caring environment. She is passionate about homeopathy and her work.
As the mother of six her interest in natural therapies started when her eldest son was diagnosed with ADD and was further intensified when her youngest son was diagnosed with ADHD and could not tolerate Ritalin due to side effects. Through the use of whole foods and homeopathic remedies her son's health improved steadily and has been off Ritalin since. Leah has a special interest in children's behavioral problems and another major focus on Allergies and Asthma. Leah is looking forward to qualify in March 2010 as an Asthma Educator.
Her broad international background in nursing, natural therapies and whole foods bring a powerful mix of tools and understanding to her clients. As a homoeopathic practitioner Leah benefits from her medical background which allows her to evaluate symptoms that require a medical referral to the GP and those that would benefit from homeopathy. Leah very strongly believes that no patient has to choose between homeopathic and conventional medicine. Homoeopathic remedies are easily integrated with conventional medicine and can be taken along with many medications or other treatments.
Leah runs her clinic from Bondi Junction . She provides homoeopathic treatment for the whole family for a variety of acute and chronic illnesses. Homoeopathic consultation involves in-depth case taking and therefore appointments are required in order to ensure the most effective treatment is provided.
Homeopathic consultations are very different from a visit to a GP. During the first session, Leah will be taking detailed and extensive case notes in order to gain a complete understanding of your condition and your general state of health. Leah will ask questions relating to your current symptoms and past medical history, diet & lifestyle, sleep and about some mental and emotional aspects in your life, if required. After the consultation Leah will spend time studying and preparing an analysis of these notes before making your first prescription. We will arrange a time at the end of the first consultation for you to collect your homoeopathic remedy.
